Arbeitsgruppe Algebra and Number Theory (Klopsch)

The research focus of our group currently lies in Geometric and Asymptotic Group Theory. For instance, we study the representation growth of arithmetic groups and p-adic Lie groups. More generally, we are interested in residually finite and, in particular, profinite groups. Further topics that we explore are: zeta functions of algebraic structures, applications of Lie theory and selected problems in Algebraic Combinatorics.
